Spring Pow

Summary

After a three week dry spell the storm track across the West is waking up. Several storms are poised to bring powder days back to Arizona.

Short Term Forecast

A vigorous storm will enter AZ this Wednesday. The front and associated precip reaches Flagstaff late afternoon if not early evening. The most productive period of snow will be ahead and along the front Wednesday evening/night with snow levels initially around 9500'. Wake up Thursday with a new FOOT up at AZSB! Much less for the Whites and doesn't even start snowing at Sunrise until Thursday morning. Snow showers persist through the day Thursday with several more inches. Bluebird Friday.

Extended Forecast

The storm track remains active through the 2 week period. A weak system Sunday...and much stronger one due Monday/Tuesday? Models hinting at another good looking storm around April Fools.
