Snow continues in the Pacific Northwest where records are being set for rainfall in Seattle (Month of March).  The Cascades will get persistent light to moderate snow through Thursday with snow levels dropping tonight.  It's not worth long term chases but if your up there go nab first chair on Thursday.  I believe Baker might be your best bet (Colder air by morning and lightly snowing 5-9). Some of that snow will be the wet mank from Wednesday that falls with higher snow levels. Baker has over 700 inches this season!

That system pulls down a cold front through central Idaho where a decent dump could occur in the southern mountains through Friday.  Snow will begin falling near Brundage and drop south towards Boise early Thursday.  Heavier snow pulls in with the cold air Thursday PM through Friday.  The highest snow totals appear to be in the Southwest corner of Idaho.  Areas to the north should grab the northern fringe under NW with light or moderate amounts (3-7).  Areas in the southwest corner could nab a foot or more. Sun Valley needs a southerly push of winds which most likely stay NW.

Utah is in the spotlight Thursday/Friday.  The GFS pulls in snow beginning Thursday morning up north into the Cottonwoods by 11AM or Noon.  The Euro is slightly slower.  Last chair Thursday could see 2-6 inches in the Cottonwoods with snow continuing Thursday night.  Initial snow on Thursday will wet with medium heavy for Friday morning. It may be worth a chase for Friday morning (7-14).  The models originally shifted most moisture south but are leaning more towards a decent tease for the central and northern mountains. 

Colorado once again should nab 5-9 inches in the northern San Juan mountains very early Friday through Friday night.  There should be some light amounts over Telluride and Silverton for 1st chair Friday with higher amounts by noon by 3PM. "It's not an epic dump by any means but should freshen things up nicely for a chase watch for Friday"

The low passes over northern New Mexico Friday night into Saturday (Light or moderate snow). Moisture will be pushed north into the Front Range.  Light or moderate snow is in the cards for areas closest to the Front Range resorts with perhaps a Saturday 1st chair surprise.  The trend has been for the heaviest  snow to pass just East and south of most resorts leaving the I-70 resorts with a 3-6 inch tease.  It might repeat? That said, Copper Mountain did pretty well last night with 8 inches.

A decent cold front makes it's way over Idaho early next week and through Utah and most of Colorado by Tuesday/Wednesday.  Westerly flow might bring higher amounts of snowfall to many areas if the models hold up!
