That's All Folks

It's now June and the beginning of the meteorological summer. The days are long, the temperatures are rising, and we will begin to see the snow melt at an accelerated pace. With this in mind, it's time to provide my final update and short recap for the 2015-2016 season...

What a winter it was for the I-70 mountain corridor. The snow machine really started cranking in November and with the exception of a warm and dry period in February, we received numerous powder days each month and well into May. This allowed myself to 'find the goods' more often than not.

I'm already dreaming of next season and the plethora of powder that will fall on the resorts along the I-70 mountain corridor!

If you are still looking for lift-served turns this season, Arapahoe Basin will be open daily through Sunday, June 5th and again Friday, June 10th through Sunday, June 12th. Any further extensions to their season will be decided shortly thereafter.

Thank you SO much for reading the I-70 Daily Snow this season. Your continued support helps our small team geek out on two things that we love, weather and snow!

Finally, stay tuned as we'll be releasing an app later in June that will provide lightning and general weather forecasts for the Colorado 14ers. If you want to know when the app is launched, please enter your email address here: TrailForecast.com

Thanks again, have a great summer, and we'll talk again as we get closer to the 2016-2017 season!
