Update

We've picked up light snow since Monday and that will remain the case through Saturday as very cold temperatures remain parked across the northern Rockies.

Look for anywhere from a dusting to 1-2 inches on Thursday and Friday, followed by a slight uptick in snowfall rates through Saturday night. Daytime highs will continue to only reach into the teens at mid-mountain through the weekend, with overnight lows hovering near and below 0F.

We should then see the action pick up for Sunday night, Monday, and Tuesday. Monday and Tuesday would be my choices for the best powder turns of the next week. Temperatures could also be slightly warmer, with highs in the upper teens to low 20s.

We'll then be watching for a slight shift in the pattern as we head into early March as the main area of storminess will shift to target California and the West Coast. Stay tuned and we'll see how it shapes up over the next week.
