The Rendezvous Bowl Plot at 9,580 feet is reporting one inch of snow and 0.25 inches of liquid over the past 24 hours. This shows just how mild our current weather-maker is as we have a snow-to-liquid ratio of 4:1 across the highest elevations.

Wednesday will continue to feature mixed precipitation and fog before clearing begins to take place during the afternoon. The snow line will hover near 10,000 feet and above so liquid precipitation is possible on the mountain. Mostly cloudy skies and mild temperatures on Wednesday night will be followed by partly sunny skies on Thanksgiving day. Mid-mountain highs will once again jump into the upper 30s to low 40s.

Another mild, moist, but weak system will then be in the works beginning Thursday evening. This system will start out with snow levels near and above 8,000 feet through Thursday night. Much colder temperatures follow for Friday morning, which should drop the snow line down to between 6,000 and 7,000 feet. We'll only be looking at 1-3 inches through Friday afternoon before mild and mostly dry conditions settle in for opening weekend

Our attention will quickly shift to Monday and Tuesday of next week as a much colder and stronger system takes aim for the northern Rockies. We should see the first signs of the approaching system by Sunday evening, followed by periods of moderate snowfall through Monday and into Tuesday.
