Powder days for Thursday/Friday

Summary

Weak high pressure will produce a mostly sunny day for Tuesday. Clouds will increase to some extent on Wednesday, but no significant snowfall will be seen. By Thursday the snow will be really falling, and continue into Friday, with lowering snow levels.

Short Term Forecast

Thursday the snow level will be 3000 ft with a robust low-pressure area approaching and moving closer. Expect snow off and on all day with 3-7”. The snow will continue on Friday with an additional 2-4” and the snow level lowering to 1000 ft. That means snow quality will be excellent on Friday and into the weekend. Expect great groomers and off piste.

Extended Forecast

The weekend will see some partial clearing, with a continued chance of snow. Expect more clearing on Sunday. With the fresh snow, the skiing will be terrific.
