Sunny today, morning low elevation fog

Snow pack getting thin

Extended forecast not encouraging

NW Open Snow Inside Story

Expect another sunny, warm day in the mountains, with a.m. valley fog. It will feel like April skiing on the slopes, as high pressure will continue the warmth aloft. Bring sunscreen and sun glasses.  Some icy spots will be seen in the early morning then everything softening up with the sun and warmth. Watch out for many thin spots. Tuesday and Wednesday will see more clouds and a chance of a little rain/snow (SL 4500-6000ft)

NW Open Snow Extended Outlook

By late in the week expect more sunshine and dry weather as high pressure builds back in and diverts storms northward. On late Friday through the weekend a couple of weak systems with a 7500ft snow level will produce more rainfall. It doesn’t look like a very nice day on Sunday – except GO Seahwks.
