NW Open Snow Inside Story

It’s a mostly sunny pattern with high pressure diverting the storms away from the Cascades for the next week. There are two weak systems ahead: one for next Monday and again on Thursday. Each could give more clouds and a little snow (trace to 2” max). But the chance is small, even for that to happen.

NW Open Snow Extended

The extended forecast, 10-14 days into mid March, occasionally show more activity for us, and then those big, nasty, mean computer models take the snow away, on subsequent model runs. It’s all so inconsistent and I have low confidence in it right now. No comeback in sight.
