Snow levels the issue

Open Snow Northwest

Expect showers today with a snow-level of 5500ft. That means wet snow on the upper slopes slopes and rain below. Not so great.

Cooler air will finally move in later tonight and early Saturday.Expect the snow level to lower to 3500 ft by Saturday morning with 2-4” of new snow. The best conditions will be on Saturday morning, considering the expected lower snow levels.

A new system Saturday night will bring milder air again (6000ft SL) and a rain snow mix. There may be a break early Sunday morning, but expect more showers and mild weather Sunday and Monday, and the SL hovering around 5500 ft.

There may be some consistent cooing by the middle and end of next week, with new snow.
