Summary:

Not too many changes to discuss this morning.  Still expecting some colder air on Thursday and possibly some light snow with a cold front.  Then more dry conditions through the Christmas holiday.

Details:

Some of the models have backed off on precip amounts on Thursday.  We were expecting meager amounts anyway. Still expecting 1-3 inches on the mountains and a dusting to an inch or two at lake level.

Then the ridge builds back in off the coast blocking storms for another 10 days.  Some hints on the long-range models that we see some more cold troughs with light snow dropping down the coast like this week the last few days of the month.

Still waiting for consistency on a pattern change in the long-range going into January, but nothing concrete showing yet.

Stay tuned...BA
