Steamboat Daily Snow

Update
The 2016-2017 season started off slow with warm temperatures and little snow during October and early November.
Then mother nature cranked up the storms in December and January. Each month, we measured 85-100 inches of snow, which is about 25% above average. The deep snowpack that we built during these two months created a solid base that we enjoyed for the rest of the season, even when natural snowfall was only 80% of average for February and 20% of average for March. The official total snowfall measurement during the 2016-2017 season was 289 inches, which is about 85% of the the 30-year average.
Thanks for following my forecasts this season, and thanks also for enjoying Steamboat. I hope to see you back here for updated forecasts starting in November 2017. Until then, have a great spring, summer, and fall!
