Details:

We are going into a week of sun and it's time to break out sunscreen and pick up the first decent goggle tans of the season.  Don't forget the sunscreen.

Long-Range:

The forecast models are split on whether or not a weak storm can break into CA next Fri-Sat.  Not looking very impressive right now so we may stay dry into next weekend as the ridge keeps storms away.

Here is the GFS 10 day total precip forecast.

The forecast models are also split on whether or not a storm or two could break into CA week 2.  The trend has been drier as the ridge may rebuild after weakening next weekend.

It looks like a better chance for storms to break in the last week of the month as the ridge weakens, but that is far off so don't bet on it yet.

Stay tuned....BA
