It's sure nice to see beautiful, bluebird skies across the region on Friday. Enjoy this quick break as we have three storms lining up to end the month of March!

The first storm will move into the Intermountain West on Friday night and bring the Teton Range periods of light to moderate snow through Saturday night. Look for 1-4 inches at Grand Targhee and 2-5 inches at Jackson Hole (above 8,000 feet) by Sunday morning and take aim for soft, creamy turns on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. 

Partly to mostly sunny skies will once again prevail on Sunday but this break will be short-lived as our second storm begins to impact the West on Sunday night and into Monday. The deepest accumulations will likely be found to our south and east but I'll go with another 2-6 inches from Sunday night through Tuesday. 

As we've seen for most of this season, the snow quality will be of the heavy/dense variety but keep your schedule open for Monday afternoon and possibly Tuesday morning for the best turns. 

Our third and final storm for the month of March will then push into the West during the latter half of next week. The details are still anyone's guess but Thursday and/or Friday will be interesting.

Looking further ahead, the pattern could remain active into early April, as indicated by the European ensemble snow forecast above, or we catch an extended break. All I can say is stay tuned and keep an eye on our extended 6-10 day forecasts.
