Just a quick update on the Sunday storm for the Upper Midwest. Both models have come into agreement around some sort of low/trough moving through the area during the day on Sunday and into Sunday night with a decent chance for snow accumulation. Unfortunately, this storm is not very well organized, so a large area will see snow, but nobody should be getting too impressive of amounts.

Right now it look like the good bet is on between 1-3” of snow by Monday morning, with it leaning towards 3” in central and southern Minnesota and Wisconsin. Further north will have issues with the snow ending earlier as the low drifts and reorganizes south, so probably closer to the 1-2” range along the North Shore and northern Wisconsin. Regardless, the low ushers in slightly warmer temperatures for Monday, so should be an amazing day-off to hit the slopes with highs actually getting near the freezing mark under sunny skies.

Also, sneaking a peak into next week. High pressure redevelops over the region during the week with temperatures dropping day-by-day until Wednesday. The next shot of snow for the region look to be next weekend again!
