April Close-out Special

Update

Who is still paying attention? We were basking in record-tying warmth just a couple days ago with a high of 85F in SLC, now we are on the brink of snow.  A low pressure system will move into the Great Basin today and bring widespread showers and cooler temperatures tonight into Monday.  Since my last update the general trend has been wetter.  Good news for those still willing to put in the effort for a couple final powder days.

Mean QPF output shows .5-1" of liquid thru Monday evening, snow levels will fall all the way down to bench and even valley elevations by early tomorrow. Should snow thru much of the morning hours.  Really solid shot at a good powder day up at Snowbird on Monday.  Right now I think anywhere from 6-12" total is a good bet.

That's not all... a follow-up system will push in on Wednesday.  This one could also have some decent accumulations as well.

Overall, not a bad way to end April and start May (though some may disagree).
