Utah Daily Snow

Summary:
Seasonable weather will continue this week. Moisture will move in from the south and give us a chance for showers. Cooler, stormier weather is possible as we head into October.
Details:
We've had our first widespread snowfall of the season. 6-12" fell in the highest elevations. In the Uintas, many areas saw over a foot. It looked like over a foot fell on Needles Lodge at Snowbasin based on webcam images. And this doesn't include all the rain that fell prior to the snow. Overall, quite a significant September storm.
Now, we warm up this week back to near or above seasonal norms. We'll even have a monsoonal moisture surge for the latter half of the week that will give most of Utah at least a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms. Snow levels should be very high (>11k feet).
By the weekend, a trough starts to push into the Western U.S. Models not in great agreement right now, but it looks like we should at least have cooler temps and continued chances for showers. First few days of October looks to be cool and unsettled, the ensemble mean shows a large trough over the west.
Perhaps chances for additional snowfall?
