Welcome October

Update

Welcome to the month of October.  We have remained cool thru the end of September and we've had several days with snow showers and a few inches of accumulation in the high elevations of Northern Utah.  Snow showers continue this morning with reports of snowflakes as low as the Wasatch Front bench locations.  There is even a bit of lake enhancement to the showers.  Here is a look at Alta this morning:

Wintry scenes continue!

Today, we should see additional snow showers aided by daytime heating.  Expect off and on snow above 6000 feet thru tonight.  Then, high pressure should take control thru the end of the week into the weekend.  Very pleasant Autumnal weather expected.  I am currently travelling so sorry if posts have been short and infrequent.  Will be back this weekend and able to settle in for the long haul!

Cheers!
