Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Vail Daily Snow

Update

We saw a few flurries on Friday night, and now, Saturday and Sunday should be dry, mostly sunny, and warmer with high temperatures in the upper 20s and low 30s.

The next storm will likely bring clouds, windy weather, and snow showers on Monday with a few inches of snow likely accumulating during the day.

Then on Monday night, I expect intense snow with an additional 4-8 inches of accumulation. This timing means that Tuesday morning should be a powder day with fresh snow waiting for you in the morning, and we should see an additional few inches during the day which will keep the snow surface soft. Tuesday is my pick for the best powder day next week.

After that system, we will likely see dry weather on Wednesday and perhaps Thursday as well, then another storm or series of storms will likely bring snow back to Vail between Friday and Sunday (February 23-25).

We are in a great storm cycle with more systems to come through early March – I hope you are taking advantage!

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for an update each morning!
