Vail Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Vail Daily Snow

Seven inches of snow fell from Sunday afternoon through Monday morning, which brings us to a 15 inch total since Thanksgiving. The snowfall previous to Sunday night has kept the slopes soft, and this means that the fresh powder from Sunday night will ski very nicely on Monday morning! Enjoy your powder turns, and dress warm as temperatures will be around 5F for first chair on Monday, increasing only to around 10F during the day.

Snow showers should continue during the day on Monday with another 2-4 inches of accumulation, and we could see about the same amount fall on Monday night which would make Tuesday first chair pretty darn fun. Keep your eye on the snow stake camera because we could see more snow than I am forecasting and I don’t want you to miss out:-) Following this storm, it’ll be dry and sunny from Tuesday midday through Friday, with a chance for light snow on Saturday 12/5.
