Vail Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Vail Daily Snow

The weather through Saturday should be similar each day with sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 30s to low 40s during the midday and early afternoon. Wear sunscreen each day and enjoy the comfortable weather! Also, when we see dry and warmer conditions like this at Vail, remember that the south-facing back bowls are usually hard and crusty in the morning but soften nicely by midday. I would suggest that you wait until about noon to see if the snow has softened, and if it has, then go enjoy the bowls. While there won’t be powder, soft and spring-like skiing in the bowls is a great experience!

Looking ahead, I see two chances for snow in the next 10 days. The first chance will be from a weak storm that will bring flurries or periods of light snow from Saturday night through Monday night. Accumulations should be low, perhaps just a dusting to a few inches. A second and stronger system should arrive around Thursday February 18th or Friday February 19th and this one could produce more significant snow. Stay tuned for daily updates!
