Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Vail Daily Snow

Saturday will be the last day of our current spell. Expect partly to mostly sunny skies with temperatures topping out in the low 40s at mid mountain. We will then see a change in the weather as a series of weak to moderately-strong storms moves across northern Colorado from late Saturday night through Tuesday morning. During this period we’ll see on-and-off snow showers with the best chance of steady snow between Sunday midday and Monday morning. I think you’ll wake up to soft turns on Monday morning with 2-4 inches (or a bit more?) on the 5AM report. There may be another inch or two of accumulation on Monday and Monday night, so it’s possible that Tuesday morning will also offer soft turns, especially on the groomers and north-facing terrain.

Following this storm, next Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry and sunny, then a fast-moving storm should bring about 2-4 or 3-6 inches of snow on Thursday afternoon into Friday morning. Check back right here each morning for an updated forecast!
