New snow refresh

Update

A cold front from the NW and a low pressure off the BC coast will rotate bands of moisture into Whistler through Saturday. This pattern will result in fresh snow for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Snowfall totals will be modest and generally decreasing on Saturday. The snow levels will lower to the Village by late Thursday, and almost to sea level by Friday as the low moves closer with the cold air.

The cool air will provide good quality snow for the groomers and off piste – especially north facing slopes on Friday. Expect 4-7” new by Friday morning. Friday off and on snow will continue, but total snowfall will be less, with 1-4”. A little new snow will be seen on Saturday, as the low weakens and shifts south – but generally snowfall will taper off. Sunday will see more sunshine and partial clearing, with terrific skiing - with continued dry weather into Tuesday.
