Update
A low pressure off the BC coast is circulating cool and unstable air with light snow into the region Friday night into early Saturday. That weather pattern will be shifting as Saturday unfolds. On Saturday morning there will be a little light snow (2-4”). The conditions will be excellent on Saturday with super groomers. Off piste will be good too, considering the recent snowfall. There is a chance of a little snow on Saturday, but for the most part it will be a fine day with sunbreaks possible.
Sunday, the influence of the low will start to fade away, as the system weakens and moves east. High pressure will nose in and that will mean a drier weather pattern for Sunday with more sunshine. Skiing will be wonderful on Sunday, with great views and you’ll ripping groomers.
Next week there are no significant storms coming into the region. A weak disturbance, with produce more clouds and occasional light snow Monday and Tuesday, but don’t expect much accumulation. Temperatures will be a bit milder. Wednesday and Thursday will see high-pressure moving in, producing partly sunny weather.
