Increasing sunshine, snowy next week

Update

Saturday will see partial clearing as higher pressure builds into the region. That means a little sunshine will be seen from time to time on Saturday. Temperatures will be moderate for Saturday and Sunday. Sunday will see spectacular sunshine with great views and fabulous visibility. It will be a wonderful day on the groomers. How about a Peak to Creek run? When that baby is groomed, it is an awesome continuous ski run for 5000 ft of vertical.

Monday will start dry, then see rain/snow mix on the lower slopes, with snow on the mid to upper slopes by afternoon, as a vigorous storm moves into Whistler. The snow level will drop to the Village by Tuesday. Expect a possible powder day -  but it will get better later in the week.

After limited snowfall on Wednesday with a break in the action, there will be new and stronger system moving in on Thursday and Friday. There is a chance of significant snowfall with that storm. Get ready for late week powder skiing in a big way.
