Snowfall cranks up

Update

High pressure will keep Whistler/Blackcomb dry early Monday. There may even be a little sunshine before lunch. while morning groomers should be excellent

Then, the doors will open to multiple storms for a least a week. The storm track will take aim at the Pacific NW this week, like we haven't seen this winter. It will be difficult to time each storm. The series of snow storms begins late Monday into Tuesday. Expect new snow off and on through the weekend, with a new storm every 24-36 hrs.

The storms will gradually get colder, later in the week and that means improving quality of snow. There has been some uncertainty regarding snowfall totals, but totals will be impressive (1-2 ft).  Expect powder days through the weekend. Go for it!
