BREAKING: Winter Park Delays Opening Until Saturday

Press Release: Due to warm temperatures that have inhibited snowmaking operations, Winter Park Resort will open its 75th Anniversary season on Saturday, November 15 at 8:30 a.m.

With snow and much colder temperatures in the forecast, postponing the resort’s opening from the scheduled date of November 12 allows Winter Park’s hard-working snowmaking and slope maintenance crews three extra days to make sure skiing/riding conditions are up to the quality visitors expect from Winter Park Resort on opening day.

The three extra days also builds the anticipation for what promises to be a sensational 75th season at Winter Park. In addition to events and activities, the 75th Anniversary season will feature the opening of Lunch Rock Restaurant, a new multi-million dollar facility at the top of Mary Jane Territory that will offer Colorado-themes and spectacular views.
