Copper Mountain Opening Wednesday, November 11

After originally pushing back their opening day from November 6th to November 13th, Copper Mountain will now kick off its 2015-2016 season on Wednesday, November 11th. 

According to the press release, the American Eagle chairlift will start spinning for the general public at 9 a.m. The first 400 guests in line will be treated to free donuts and hot chocolate.

Guests will enjoy intermediate skiing and riding on trails Rhapsody and Main Vein via the American Eagle chairlift. Easy Rider beginner learning area and Eagle Jib Park are expected to open by Saturday, November 14th

With Copper now opening on Veteran’s Day, the resort will offer free skiing and riding on Wednesday, November 11th to all active or retired military and their dependents. This includes all Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard or retired military and their dependents (spouses and/or children). All military and dependents will be required to show a valid ID at the ticket window at time of purchase.
