Andrew and I launched OpenSnow.com on November 1, 2011. I had written about snow in Colorado since December 2007 on my previous site, ColoradoPowderForecast.com, but knew that there were skiers and riders outside of Colorado that could benefit from our forecasts as well. So that's why we expanded to OpenSnow.com, and I couldn't be more excited that the hard work of our team of developers and forecasters was noticed by many leading publications this season, including a story in the February issue of Ski Magazine and now in the February 25, 2013 issue of Time Magazine.
