PHOTOS: Christmas Powder

December 2015 will be one to remember across the western US and Canada. Feet of snow continued to pile up throughout the month, leading to one of the best weeks of holiday skiing in recent memory.

Northwest Meteorologist Larry Schick called December 22nd one of the best powder days in years. Utah received over 6 feet of snow in six days. The Lake Tahoe region is now at 40% of their annual average. Both Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee continued their streak of impressive December snow totals with over 4 feet of snow leading up to Christmas. Finally, Colorado had a tremendous week of holiday skiing as the northern and central mountains received 2-3 feet, while southern Colorado received upwards of 6+ feet.

As promised, here's a collection of our favorite photos from the week of Christmas 2015. Enjoy!
