Ski.com Announces Epic Dream Job Hire

After more than 1,100 video applications received over a six-week period, Ski.com’s Epic Dream Job search has come to an end.

Countless hours were poured over each 60-second video application and after much deliberation, Ski.com and our partners have come to the conclusion that Jackson Lebsack, 19, of Bozeman, Montana, is the ideal candidate.

"We have been blown away by the large quantity and exceptional quality of video application submissions we have received," said Dan Sherman, CMO of Ski.com. "In the end, we chose Jackson due to his unique narrative and visual storytelling talents, engaging personality and love for travel and skiing. We're thrilled to offer him a platform to tell an incredible story while he travels to nearly 20 ski destinations around the world over two months this winter."

More About Jackson Lebsack

Jackson Lebsack currently resides in Bozeman, Mont. and established his film and photography business, JL Media, at the age of 19 after deciding to withdraw from Montana State University to focus on the business he was already gathering. Lebsack grew up in Hood River, Oregon and his passions, in addition to traveling the world with camera in hand getting paid to do what he loves, are kite surfing, hiking, and skiing.

Ever since he picked up a camera he was hooked. He was captivated by being able to put memories and moments into a visual story. Through photography and videography, he has been to places he never thought he would see, he has had experiences he never thought he would have and he’s met people he never thought he would meet. The camera has changed his view of the world and has changed him as a person.

Lebsack will fly via United Airlines to seven countries on three continents and ski at more than a dozen of the 65 destinations available on the Epic Pass. In addition to being introduced to unique experiences at world-class resorts, he will be decked out in head-to-toe gear from Helly Hansen, Rossignol and Oakley; capture enviable content with video equipment from GoPro; have a direct line to custom snow forecasts from OpenSnow, and collect a paycheck of $10,000 USD.
