Snowmaking Update from Loveland Ski Area

As of November 1st, Arapahoe Basin Ski Area remains as the only open ski resort in the western US. Loveland Ski Area is always right there with them but above-average temperatures have kept snowmaking operations shut down for much of the second half of October. Here's the latest update from Dustin Schaefer at Loveland Ski Area.

After a long delay due to warm temps our snowmaking crew got back to work and made snow last night. Temps are looking promising the next couple nights for snowmaking. We still have a good amount of snow to make on Homerun and the base of the mountain. No opening date has been set. We're hoping it will be in the next week or so. Once we have news, we'll let you know. Thank you for your patience during this warm streak.
