TahoeWeatherDiscussion.com moves to OpenSnow.com

I'm merging TahoeWeatherDiscussion.com into OpenSnow.com because I wanted to bring you better forecasts. The other forecasters that run OpenSnow.com are just like me - local folks who love weather and snow. We wanted to make a site that had local forecasters covering the entire country and also provided snow forecasts by the inch for every ski area. I've very excited to be a part of OpenSnow.

It was a fantastic couple of years at TahoeWeatherDiscussion.com and I've been humbled by your support and enthusiasm. What does this transition mean?

+ I'll still be posting regular updates, just as frequently as I always have.
+ All future updates will be posted to The Tahoe Daily Snow page.
+ Bookmarks this new page.
+ The weather maps and snow totals page on the old site are now here.

The benefit to OpenSnow.com is that you'll be able to see pinpoint snow forecasts for all of our Tahoe mountains and for every ski area in the country. You can create a page that shows your favorite mountains, set powder alerts, and read updates from other forecasters in the US in case you're traveling outside of Tahoe. Plus I'm working with the other forecasters from OpenSnow.com on a few additional features that will launch in early January and will be better than anything else found on the web. Stay tuned...BA
