Cashback when buying gear. Cool!

There's a new company in town that we're good friends with. It's called ActiveJunky.com, and they do one thing really well: they give you cash back for buying gear. It's a neat concept, and here's how it works. You search for gear on their website, then when you buy the gear, you check out through the original online retailer (example: backcountry.com).

When you do this, backcountry.com (or whomever) sends a small chunk of the purchase price back to ActiveJunky, since they referred the sale. Now here's the cool part - ActiveJunky sends some of this "cash back" directly to you. So if you go through them, you get the gear for the same price as you get it on the original online retailer, but you get some cash back. I like the concept, and they're good people over there (the company was started by a few young skiing entrepreneurs in Denver a few months ago).

Check out their holiday gift guide here, and do it before the powder flies next week and you have no time except to shred the gnar!
