The loss of a real person

When a famous skier dies in an avalanche, sometimes it feels a little surreal. You know the name of the person and that they've done cool things, but usually you don't really think of them as a person - more of just a figure or ideal. Here's a great interview with Jaime Pierre that should hopefully bring this home. Beyond his legendary status of dropping the biggest cliff, he's just a regular guy:
