Wolf Creek, CO Opening for the 2016-2017 Season on November 24th

Wolf Creek Ski Area will open Thursday, November 24th for the 2016-2017 season. Skiing and riding will be accessed from the beginner lift, Nova, with operating hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

According to the press release, ski school will offer classes for both adults and children, including the Wolf Pup Program. Ski and snowboard rentals will be available, along with Treasure Sports. The main day lodge, Wolf Creek Lodge, will be serving a limited but delicious menu. 

Wolf Creek is currently making snow at night in the beginner area. Wolf Creek received 8 inches of fresh snow over the weekend of November 5th and 6th and with storms ramping up across the West, the warm and dry start to the season will soon be behind us.
