Beginning Monday, the Southwest will be under the influence of a persistent area of low pressure off Baja, CA.  The cutoff will open and move through Monday night and Tuesday in a much weakened state. It is a very warm and subtropical storm and snow levels will be high, though I still expect 2-5" of snow at Snowbowl through Tuesday. Ridging will re-establish Wednesday and maybe Thursday.
