What is the All-Access Pass?
The All-Access Pass is a way for you to support our small team and get access to additional features and gear discounts. The pass is only $19 for an entire year.
Tell me more about the features
  • Ad-Free Experience. View the website and our iPhone and Android apps with no advertisements.
  • Receive the "Daily Snow" via email and avoid clicking "refresh" to see when a new forecast is posted.
  • Unlimited alerts about reported snow and forecasted snow. You set the amount of snow you'd like to know about, and leave the rest to us. Non pass holders are limited to two snow report alerts and no forecast alerts.
  • Full 10-Day Forecast (non pass holders only see 5 days). Begin your powder-day planning a few days earlier.
  • 24 Hour Timelapse Webcams. See when the snow fell by replaying the past day. Did all of the accumulations happen during the day and get skied up, or did the snow fall overnight and fresh tracks are in order for the morning?
  • Five-Day Powder Finder. Quickly see which mountains will receive the most snow. Non pass holders only see 2 days.
  • Forecast Trends. Understand how the forecast is changing as the storm approaches. Is it trending up (hope so)? Trending down (oh no)?
How do I get the $10 discount from
Pass holders can find the discount code on the "My Settings" page, which you can navigate to from your dashboard. Or visit:
Do you offer discount memberships?
Absolutely! You probably know lots of other skiers and riders. When you refer someone who purchases an All-Access Pass, you get $5 off your next bill and they get $5 off their current bill. And you can refer as many people as you want, which means a free pass for you when you get four friends to sign up!
When does the All-Access Pass renew?
Each pass is good for one calendar year, or 365 days. When you purchase an All-Access Pass, we will automatically renew your pass and charge you again one year later. If you dislike automatic renewals and would like to turn this off (no hard feelings, we understand!), please click "Turn Off Auto-Renew" on the Change Plan page:
What is your refund policy?
If you don't find our service and our forecasts useful, we'll refund your money with no hassle, even if you've used our service for many months. It's really that simple. Just email us at [email protected] and we'll take care of you. The only downside to this type of refund policy is that now you can't complain about meteorologists getting paid even when they're wrong:-)
What type of payment do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Sorry, we do not accept PayPal or Amazon payments at this time.
Is my credit card information safe?
We use the strongest security measures available to protect your personal information. Before your credit card number is forwarded to our credit card processor, it is encrypted using the strongest encryption available today. Also, we do not store your credit card number on our servers and rather leave that to the data security experts at our payment processing company called Stripe.
Do you sell or share my personal information?
We will NEVER sell or share your personal information. In fact we're not even sure how to sell your information, and that's not how we want to make money anyhow.
Why are you charging for the All-Access Pass? Doesn't OpenSnow make money from advertisements?
Thousands of people support OpenSnow by paying us directly, and we welcome this because we love working directly for our users. We also make money from advertisements purchased by resorts and gear companies. While advertising does make up the majority or our revenue, we rely on contributions from our supporters to help us constantly improve the site and have a predictable revenue stream year-after-year. The purchcase of the All-Access Pass for $19/yr goes directly to support our small team of forecasters, to help us develop and maintain our website and apps, and to allow us to make improvements each season.
Can I use OpenSnow for free?
Absolutely. Browse the site and our mobile apps as much as you'd like. You can also sign up for a free account, which will allow you to save a list of your favorite mountains and receive snow report alerts for up to two mountains. Get a free account here or consider getting the All-Access Pass for only $19 per year.
I used to be a Pro or SuperPro member. What happened to this?
We wanted to make things simpler and less costly. So instead of having two levels at two different prices (Pro for $20, SuperPro for $45), we transitioned Pro and SuperPro members to All-Access pass holders as of January 1, 2015, and the new price is only $19. We're a snow forecasting website, and this shouldn't be complicted. That's why we felt like one plan for $19 was an easier way for people to support OpenSnow and enjoy additional features and discounts.
How will Pro and SuperPro members transition to the OpenSnow All-Access Pass?
Pro and SuperPro members will be automatically transitioned to the All-Access Pass on January 1, 2015. If you paid for a Pro ($20) or SuperPro ($45) plan and would like a pro-rated refund (since the price for the All-Access Pass is only $19), please email [email protected]. If you don't want a refund, then do nothing and enjoy the extra karma for your extra support of OpenSnow.
I was a Pro or SuperPro member. When will my plan renew and at what price?
Your plan will renew one year (365 days) from your original purchase date. When your plan renews, we will charge you only $19 for the All-Access Pass, which is less expensive than either the old Pro ($20) or SuperPro ($45) membership plans.
Still have questions?
No sweat. Email us and we'll get right back to you: [email protected].
