That's a Wrap

Summary

Closing weekend at Snowbowl is upon us. This week's storm delivered 7" of new snow to the ski area. Season total at Snowbowl 225", average 260", not too shabby considering the late start and it being a La Nina year.

Short Term Forecast

High pressure builds over the coming days leading to sharply warmer weather than early week, temperatures on the mountain will max in the 60's Thursday-Sunday....Friday and Saturday being the warmest.

Thursday will offer some fresh snow to the morning crowd. The warm temperatures and abundant sunshine will get on it turning conditions from powder to wet snow during the afternoon, probably not corning up until Friday onward.

Saturday and Sunday will be on the windy side with winds from the southwest Saturday and west Sunday.

Saturday will see some extensive cirrus cloud cover. Sunday more sunshine.
