And Then There Were 3

Three days left to enjoy those convenient high-speed lifts and epic runs before it comes to an end late Sunday afternoon. A few clouds Friday morning will eventually transition to a mix of sun and clouds this afternoon. Saturday will be a full on bluebird day with temps in the upper 30’s across the alpine. Sunday will be 50/50, with sun in the AM and clouds and flurries in the afternoon. Enjoy.

Currently the skies are cloudy over Lone and Andesite mountains. Current winds at the top of Andesite (8850’) are out of the NE at 2 mph with a recent gust to 7 mph.

Extended Forecast: High-pressure will deliver sunny skies on Saturday with highs around 36 at 9000’ and light to moderate winds. Sunday will start off mostly sunny and warm before the skies begin a transition in advance of the next storm system. A strong cold-front advancing southeast out of Canada will bring increasing clouds by noon and occasional snow showers through the mid to late afternoon hours on Sunday, but most of the accumulations (3 to 6 inches) will occur Sunday night. Highs at 9000’ will jump to around 42 degrees midday Sunday before falling into the 30’s by 3pm. Moderate to gusty SW winds.
