Around 4 inches of snow fell at the summit station (11,166’) of Lone Mountain by Friday morning August 20th. A large low-pressure system swung out of B.C. that brought in a shot of cold air that dropped snow levels to around 8000’. It has been one of the hottest summers on record in Montana and this change of weather is extremely welcomed by all. Enjoy a few snowy shots from the summit below…
