Boring but cold

Summary

Pretty boring next week or so. Luckily it is going to be colder than average for the foreseeable future. Let's take a look!

Short Term Forecast

Check out the 5 day total precipitation forecast below ending on Thursday:

Boring at best. The northern  areas will get a dusting to an inch on Wednesday morning but that is it. Luckily check out the temperature anomalies below for the next 5 days:

Conditions should stay really good out there!

Extended Forecast

Next Friday/Saturday the Euro model is saying we get in a storm. The GFS has a storm as well but it is very weak. Really the only consistency for the next 2 weeks in every model is the cold. It could get downright bitter next week. Check out the GFS:

Meteograms are showing daily high temperatures in the low teens towards the end of next week. 

There are signs that we could start seeing moisture moving into the region in early February:

I will keep you updated as we get closer and I start seeing signs of incoming storms. For right now, bundle up and enjoy the sunny, cold weather!
