Mixed Signals....

Summary

Real quick update. Not quite sure what's going to happen with the storm from late this afternoon into tomorrow morning. Models are a bit all over the place!

Short Term Forecast

Check out the NAM12k below for the total precipitation through tomorrow morning:

Half inch isn't too bad for the central Boise mountains. I know that Brundage and Tamarack are both a bit outside of the half inch zone. So let's take a look at the NAM3k. The NAM3k gets deep into the nitty gritty of specific mountain ranges. It is usually a bit aggressive with the precipitation so keep that in mind.

That's a bit more bullish than the 12k. I don't think we get an inch plus of liquid, but I certainly think a half inch is doable. So let's stick with our 4-6 inches of precipitation from late this afternoon into tomorrow. Maybe kick in some snow dances just for good measure.

Extended Forecast

Get after it if you get a chance. Looks like we dry out through next Tuesday at best and the models are even waffling on that.
