Snow Forecast

View → 10-Day Snow Forecast

Monday featured mixed periods of sun and clouds, followed by clearing through Monday. We've now awoken to crystal clear skies on Tuesday morning, with temps in the low 20s.

The rest of Tuesday will feature sunny skies, temps in the upper 20s to low 30s, and gusty winds out of the west and northwest. The upper elevations will experience wind gusts of 30-50 MPH as detailed in our hourly forecast data for Breckenridge. This hourly data includes the chance of precipitation, temperature, wind speed, wind gust, and cloud cover for the next 5 days.

Wednesday will also start off sunny and slightly cooler ahead of our next chance for snow on Wednesday. Look for daytime highs in the 20s and increasing cloud coverage during the afternoon and early evening.

Come Wednesday night, we will have a storm move through Colorado and bring a quick round of snow through early Thursday morning. This storm will favor the foothills west of Denver for the deepest totals thanks to an easterly wind. This is not ideal for Breckenridge and this will likely only bring us anywhere from a dusting to 1-3 inches for Thursday morning's report.

The storm will quickly exit on Thursday morning and we will receive partly cloudy skies and temps in the teens through Thursday afternoon.

Extended Forecast

No major updates to discuss for the weekend ahead.

Off-and-on snow will fall from Friday through next Monday (3/1) as a storm cuts off from the main flow of weather and spins near and around Colorado. This is not an ideal setup for heavy snow so we'll have to take it one day at a time as we get closer.

Looking further ahead, additional chances for snow will follow around March 4th and March 8th. Again, not an ideal weather pattern but at least we have snow in the forecast.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for daily updates!
