Snow Forecast
View → 10-Day Snow Forecast
We have beautiful weather to kick-off this Wednesday and that will remain the story through the early afternoon. Temps will climb into the low-to-mid 20s ahead of increasing cloud coverage during the late afternoon.
Come Wednesday evening, we will be tracking our next round of snow that will heavily favor the foothills and higher peaks west of Denver. This doesn't do much for Breckenridge but in total, look for anywhere from a dusting to 1-2 inches come Thursday morning.
The storm will then clear quickly out through Wednesday night and into early Thursday morning. Temps will start in the single-digits and rise into the teens through Thursday under partly to mostly cloudy skies.
For the weekend ahead, we still have a lot of confusion and uncertainty in the details. This tends to happen as the main bulk of energy breaks off from the main flow of weather and spins around Colorado. As of now, we'll be watching for light snow and gusty winds on Friday, following by a chance for steadier snow on Saturday. Temps could be very cold so that will be something to keep an eye on.
Extended Forecast
Looking ahead to next week, we'll be watching for additional chances for snow on Sunday and into Monday. Nothing to write home about at this point. Additional chances for snow will then be in the works for March 2nd, 4th, and 8th.
As you can tell from the lack of details in today's update, there's a lot of uncertainty in the forecast so I hope that this becomes more clear over the coming days.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for daily updates!
