Snow Forecast
View → 10-Day Snow Forecast
We've enjoyed fresh snow and cool temperatures so far this week and the conditions through Friday will not be much different. Our latest weather-maker will continue to pump additional snow showers over Breckenridge on Wednesday, Thursday, and into Friday.
Due to the showery nature of this setup, it's very hard to pinpoint the best accumulations, though keep an eye on the second half of Thursday and possibly during the day on Friday for a shot at heavier snow showers and soft turns.
In total, a forecast of 2-6 inches is the right expectation through Friday night. Temps will climb into the 20s to low 30s each day, with overnight lows in the teens.
Announcements
Mostly dry conditions will likely prevail on Saturday, with daytime highs in the upper 30s to low 40s. Sunday will also feature dry weather as temps climb well into the 40s to low 50s on the mountain.
Following the dry weekend, we'll turn our full attention to additional chances for snow between Tuesday, April 27, and Wednesday, April 28. There is potential for significant snow so keep your schedules open.
Looking further ahead, we'll likely catch a short break late next week ahead of yet another spring storm over the weekend of May 1/2. Many of us might be ready for full-on summer weather but I'll continue to say that we should be very thankful for moisture as we head deeper into spring.
Thanks for reading! Next update on Friday (4/23).
