Update

Breckenridge is reporting 5 inches on Thursday morning. My final forecast called for 3-6 inches so I feel very good about how this storm played out! Stay tuned to the Breckenridge terrain and lift status page for the latest updates on that front.

The rest of Thursday will feature scattered showers in the morning but mostly dry conditions by midday. Temps will be in the teens so bundle up if you're sampling the goods.

Our next system will then make its presence felt on Thursday night, with another round of solid accumulations through midday Friday. Look for 2-4 inches in Friday morning's report, with an additional 2-4 inches through Friday afternoon.

Scattered showers will continue through Friday night before mild temps and mostly sunny skies take over for the weekend. Daytime highs will be in the 20s, with overnight lows in the teens.

Looking further ahead, there's an outside chance for a few showers through early next week but I'm not expecting much. Our full attention remains locked on January 19th and 20th for our next chance at deeper accumulations. The final 10 days of January also look very encouraging so stay tuned and praise Ullr!
