Our latest storm delivered an intense band of snow on Saturday afternoon into Saturday evening and then more scattered snow showers fell on Saturday night into early Sunday morning.

We went into this storm with an expectation of 4-8 inches. Below are the actual snow totals through Sunday morning at 600am.

There were a few mountains on the higher end of the range, a few mountains in the middle of the range, and a lot of mountains at or below the low end of the range. While I do see some snow showers continuing early on Sunday morning via northwest flow, temperatures are cold (single digits) and moisture is waning and both of these factors make me think that we will not see a lot of additional accumulation on Sunday, perhaps a coating to 1-2 inches.

Monday & Tuesday

Both days should be mostly dry and warmer with on-mountain highs in the 20s. There could be a few wrinkles in the forecast with some clouds lingering over the northern mountains on Monday and then gusty winds over the northern mountains on Tuesday afternoon.

Wednesday & Thursday

The next storm will move through Colorado during this time but it does NOT look like it will produce significant snow for most mountains. On Wednesday there could be some showers. Then the best chance of steady snow will be on Wednesday night, and most of this snow should stay east of the divide.

The next chance for snow will be sometime between Friday, February 26, and Saturday, February 28. This is the same timing and lack of detail that I've offered for the last few days, and I still have zero confidence in the details of the forecast. When looking across all models, the trend over the last day has been to split the weekend storm which might result in lower snow totals or higher totals but just for a few spots. Based on this trend in the forecast, I am keeping my expectations for snow pretty low, but again, it's just too soon to have any real confidence in the details.
