Saturday was a mixed day with some snow showers, some times of dry weather, and a few breaks of sunshine. There was just a little bit of accumulation from the snow showers. 

Sunday will be dry and sunny with a high temperature around 30 degrees.

Monday morning will also be dry.

On Monday midday, winds will be strong with gusts near or faster than 40mph.

Then from Monday afternoon through Tuesday at sunrise, expect times of intense snow as a strong and fast-moving storm tracks directly across Colorado.

For the snow forecast by Tuesday morning at sunrise, I’ll stick with about 3-6 inches. However, due to the strength of the storm, there could be more snow than this. I always try to set reasonable expectations and we can always hope for more snow!

Tuesday will be mostly dry, then we’ll see snow showers return on Tuesday night and continue through Saturday morning. I have low confidence in this forecast – we might see a few inches each day and/or night with soft conditions through the week, or accumulations could be much lower with just light snow showers.

Looking ahead to closing weekend for Winter Park, Saturday could be a mixed day with lingering showers and cooler temperatures. Then Sunday should be a warm and sunny day, which is just what we would hope for during the last day of the season.
