Showers through Friday evening at Copper

Summary

On Thursday and Friday, snow showers should deliver a little more snow. Then closing weekend on Saturday and Sunday will be dry and warmer.

Short Term Forecast

Wednesday was a showery day with just light snow accumulations at mid-mountain. Then on Wednesday night, light snow showers continued, and another dusting to a coating accumulated on the mountain.

Now on Thursday morning at 700am, I see sunshine, but the radar shows more showers coming toward the mountain and we could see more snow showers and potentially a few inches throughout the day.

On Thursday night into Friday morning, the showers should move to southern Colorado and leave us drier.

And on Friday afternoon and Friday evening, the showers will move back north and we could see a little bit of additional snow accumulation.

Extended Forecast

On Saturday, our weather will be dry, partly sunny, and high temperatures will be in the 30s to low 40s.

Then on Sunday, closing day at Winter Park, we’ll see more sunshine, and temperatures will be warm with highs in the 40s to low 50s.
