Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

We have a temperature inversion on Wednesday morning, with a reading of 5F at mid mountain and 15F at the top. Once the sun shines fully, the entire mountain from base to summit will warm up, with mid-mountain readings getting up to 30F on Wednesday afternoon. Bring your sunscreen and enjoy the groomers, which should be in great shape after the consistent snowfall that we saw in the five days following Thanksgiving.

Thursday and Friday will also be dry and partly to mostly sunny, and temperatures each day should top out around 35-40F. Then we’ll see a weak storm bring a dusting to an inch or two of new snow on Saturday morning, with temperatures on Saturday dropping back into the 20s for highs. I think Sunday through next Wednesday will be dry, then a powerful storm should bring multiple days of fresh snow and colder air, starting around  Thursday, December 10th and lasting for at least a few days.
