Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 7 years ago November 27, 2017
Update
Sunday was a warm and sunny day at Copper with high temperatures hitting 50F at mid-mountain and about 45F at the summit.
Monday will be dry and slightly cooler than Sunday, and then we should see light snow on Monday night with 1-3 inches of accumulation. This should freshen the slopes a bit for Tuesday morning. The other good thing about this storm is that it will drop temperatures back closer to average, which will allow for more snowmaking at night and even during the day.
Another weak storm may toss a few flurries on Copper on Wednesday night, and this system will also drop temperatures a bit.
Looking further ahead, a stronger storm is possible between about December 3-6, so stay tuned for daily updates as we figure out this storm's track and how much snow it may deliver to Copper.
